1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Sacramento (Sacramento, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a pedestrian accident on Thursday. 

The accident occurred outside Sacramento International Airport at night. It happed on Bayou Way at Metro Air Parkway. 

According to witnesses of the accident, a man had walked out in front of a Nissan Sedan. 

He was reportedly not wearing much clothing. 

The Sacramento Metro Fire pronounced him dead at the scene. 

The officials have said that the area has no street lights as it is a remote part of the county. 

The cause of the fatal accident is being investigated. 

The officials have confirmed that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.  They remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
