1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Pima County (Pima County, AZ)

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office reported a pedestrian accident on Saturday morning. The accident occurred on Arizona State Route 86 at around 5 a.m. 

According to the officials, PCSO Deputy Matthew Horrigan was headed to the Ajo district in a marked patrol vehicle. The vehicle hit a pedestrian who was wearing dark clothes and was lying down on the road. 

The pedestrian was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim has not been disclosed at this time. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
