The Austin Police Department reported a pedestrian accident on Friday. The accident occurred near the intersection of North I-35 southbound and Clarkson Avenue at around 9:45 a.m. 

According to the officials, a pedestrian and a CapMetro train were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the collision are not yet known at this time. 

The officials confirmed that the pedestrian involved was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. 

The officials are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. There are no other details available at this time.
