The Washington State Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident on Saturday. The accident occurred on the southbound State Route 509 exit to State Route 99.
According to the officials, a Vespa cycle collided with a Uhaul truck and was trapped in the wheel well. This caused the rider to be severely injured.
The officials have reported that the rider succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the officials. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
