According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident was reported in Midland.
The officials stated that three vehicles were involved in a crash that happened on State Highway 158.
A 2014 Dodge 3500 was heading in the eastbound lane of State Highway 158 when it ran into a trailer being pulled by a 2022 Dodge 3500. The trailer collided with a semi-truck in the westbound lane upon the initial impact.
Dr. Kandker pronounced Juvencio Juarez-Marquez, driver of the 2014 Dodge dead at the Midland Memorial Hospital.
No additional information regarding other casualties was reported by the officials.
The officials are investigating to confirm whether drugs, alcohol, or reckless driving was the factor involved in the fatal crash.
