According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Martinez on Wednesday. The crash happened on State Highway 4 at around 4:15 a.m.
According to the investigators, a Lexus SUV, a Ford hatchback, and a Toyota SUV were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the driver of the Ford traveling westbound hit the divider and collided with the Lexus SUV. The driver of the Toyota SUV traveling in the same direction also collided with the Ford.
According to the reports, the driver of the Ford suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Martinez Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
