1 Person Killed In A Motor Vehicle Crash In San Jose (San Jose, CA)

According to the San Jose Police Department, a pedestrian was killed in a motor vehicle accident in San Jose on Sunday. 

Approximately at 3:20 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a 2019 Hyundai SUV that was approaching northbound on Winchester Boulevard.  Following this, the Hyundai collided with a tree near Walgrove Way. 

The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the spot. Later, the authorities discovered that the Huyndai was a stolen vehicle. The driver of the stolen vehicle endured mild injuries and was taken to the hospital.  

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
