Authorities are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a person.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at Old McDuffie road and Kenny road on Monday afternoon.
A male on a dirt bike attempted to pass a bus turning left in a no-passing zone. He then struck the bus.
The man who is yet to be identified was pronounced dead at the scene.
One student from the bus and the bus driver remained unharmed from the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
