1 Person Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Tustin (Tustin, CA)

The Tustin Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Monday. The accident occurred on the Costa Mesa Freeway, i.e., the 55 Freeway at around 11:25 a.m. 

According to the officials, a man had stolen copper wire from a building and had thrown it to the ground. The officials came to the scene just as the man was trying to escape. 

When the man saw the cops, he ditched the wires and jumped off the side of a fence onto the freeway. He tried to run across the freeway in an attempt to evade the police but was hit by a vehicle. 

The man was fatally injured in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the man has not been disclosed at this time. 

The fatal crash is still being investigated at this time.
