The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident in Santa Cruz on Sunday.
The officials stated that the crash happened at around 3 a.m. west of Felton.
The officials reported that a Toyota veered off the roadway for unknown reasons and collided with multiple trees and got engulfed in flames.
The Toyota Rav4 was completely engulfed in flames by the time the emergency crew arrived on the scene
The identity of the driver is yet to be released by the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s coroner.
The CHP is investigating the crash to determine whether drugs or alcohol were factors in causing the fatal crash.
