The California Highway Patrol confirmed the death of one person in a solo-car crash on Wednesday morning.
The officials stated that the crash occurred on southbound CA-13 near the Redwood Road off-ramp on Oakland’s east side at around 3: 33 a.m.
The Alameda County coroner arrived at the scene around 4 a.m.
The identity of the victim was not released by the CHP.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash is available at the moment.
The officials are investigating the cause of the accident at the moment.
No other casualties were reported in the incident.
Only one lane on Highway 13 was opened for the commuters.
