1 Person Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In New Orleans (New Orleans, LA)

A man running from police was killed in a motor vehicle accident in New Orleans. 

According to the New Orleans Police Department, a stolen car was reported by a 55-year-old man. 

Police spotted the carjacked vehicle Monday night at around 10 p.m. 

The car was being chased by the police till Interstate 10 near Bullard Avenue. 

Three of the occupants fled the vehicle before the police arrived. The officer chased a man as he ran across the westbound lanes, then to the eastbound lanes. 

A car with a man, woman and a child struck the suspect. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene by Superintendent Shaun Ferguson. 

Police chased the other two suspects but failed to capture them. 

The Police have not released any information regarding the deceased. 

No additional information regarding the fatal crash is available.
