According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a single-vehicle crash occurred in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The crash happened in the area of 2100 Paseo Del Mar, near Palos Verdes High School at around 5 p.m.
The officials stated that a car went over the side of a cliff and fell about 300 feet in Palos Verdes Estates.
According to the Police, the driver of the car suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision.
The identity of the deceased victim was not revealed by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
