1 Person Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Long Beach (Long Beach, CA)

According to the Long Beach Police Department, a motorcyclist was killed in a motor vehicle accident in Long Beach on Sunday. 

Roughly at 5:35 p.m., a man was driving a 2021 Harley Davidson west on Willow Street at Palo Verde Avenue. The motorcycle collided with a 2019 Nissan Sentra at the intersection.

The man in Harley Davidson was ejected from the vehicle and was critically injured. He was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The driver of the Nissan, a 63-year-old man, remained at the location and cooperated in the investigation. 

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
