1 Person Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Grant County (Grant County, WA)

The Washington State Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident in Grant County on Thursday. The accident occurred on State Route 262, west of The Potholes at around 11:40 p.m. 

According to the officials, a 2003 Subaru Legacy was traveling west when it crossed over the median and overcorrected. This caused it to roll before coming to a rest on the eastbound shoulder. 

The driver of the vehicle was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time. The officials have reported that he is a 69-year-old man from Belfair. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role. There are no other details available at this time.
