1 Person Killed In A Motor-Vehicle Accident In Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash occurred near Lake Isabella on Monday evening. 

The crash happened on a dirt trail south of Black Gulch Road at around 4:30 p.m. 

According to the CHP Bakersfield department, a 2012 Polaris was involved in an off-road vehicle accident. 

The officials stated that the driver of the car was traveling off the dirt road and fell about 50 feet down an embankment. 

The vehicle swirled and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The identity of the victim was not revealed by the California Highway Patrol. 

The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash. 

No additional information regarding the motor vehicle crash was provided by the Deputies.
