According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Auburn on Saturday. The crash happened along the westbound lanes of I-80 near Douglas Boulevard.
According to the investigators, an unknown person and an unknown vehicle were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the unknown driver collided with a tree.
According to the deputies, the unknown driver suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Auburn Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
