1 Person Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Albuquerque ( Albuquerque, N. M )

 Albuquerque police officers are looking for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian. 

The crash happened in Central and 61st Street Northwest around 3 a.m. 

The suspect hit the pedestrian and fled the scene overnight. On arrival, officers discovered one person deceased at the scene due to their injuries from the fatal crash.

No information is available about whether the pedestrian was crossing Central or was in the roadway. However, APD is trying to identify the driver who hit them.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing. 

Central was blocked between 59th and 61st streets following the pedestrian crash but was reopened later.
