According to the California Highway Patrol, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Kings County on Friday morning.
The crash happened on Avenal Cutoff Road at Lincoln Avenue at around 6 a.m.
The officials stated that a motorcycle and a semi-truck were involved in the multi-vehicle collision.
The driver of the motorcycle was traveling south when a car tried to turn off the road and pulled in front.
The motorcyclist was hit by a semi-truck and was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision.
The identity of the deceased victim was not revealed by the California Highway Patrol.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
