1 Person Killed In A Hit-And-Run Accident In Harlingen (Harlingen, TX)

Harlingen police are probing a hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a man in his late 40s. Authorities responded to the intersection of Business 77 and New Combes Highway around 1:52 a.m. on Sunday. 

They discovered the victim lying on the roadside with multiple injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. Despite efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. While the police have not disclosed the victim’s identity, the next of kin have been informed.

As of now, the vehicle involved in the incident remains elusive, with authorities actively searching for it. The Harlingen Police Department continues its investigation into the tragic fatal crash
