According to the San Diego Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Tuesday in San Diego. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the pedestrian accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near the intersection of C Street and 6th Avenue. A man was struck by a truck in the roadway.
As a result of this, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The identity of the deceased person remains unknown.
Insights pertaining to what caused the wreck are yet to be named. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the driver of the vehicle involved.
The crash continues to be investigated by the SDPD.
