1 Person Killed In A Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Mission Bay (Mission Bay, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in Mission Bay. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the pedestrian accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred off the 2700 block of Morena Boulevard. A passenger train struck an unidentified pedestrian standing in its way. The identity of the pedestrian has not been determined as yet.

Other insights into the collision are yet to be released. The reason for the pedestrian presence in the area remains unknown. 

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
