1 Person Killed In A Fatal Pedestrian Crash In Jackson County (Jackson County, TX)

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in Jackson County.

Officials confirmed that 1 person died due to the pedestrian accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Highway 59 near SH530.

A pedestrian was walking northbound when he was struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian suffered severe injuries due to the wreck.

He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Other details including the identity of the victim remain unknown.

The cause of the crash has not been revealed as yet.

The crash remains under investigation by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
