According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday in Jackson County.

A pedestrian was walking northbound when he was struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian suffered severe injuries due to the wreck.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
