On Wednesday, a motorcyclist died following a fatal crash in Soledad Canyon.
At about 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, first responders received information of a traffic collision on Soledad Canyon Road near Bouquet Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, stated Deputy Natalie Arriaga, a spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Following the crash, one person was pronounced dead on arrival, according to Sheriff’s officials. “We are looking into a fatal collision,” Arriaga said. As of 11 a.m., Soledad Canyon Road is closed down as crews work to investigate the crash, according to officials. The events that have led up to the crash remain unknown at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
