1 Person Killed In A Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash In Cobb County (Cobb County, GA)

According to the Cobb County Police Department, a fatal collision occurred in Cobb County on Friday.

Officials confirmed that one man died due to the motor vehicle collision.

Authorities stated that the crash occurred on Cobb Parkway north of EMC Parkway.

Kevin Michael Johnson, who was traveling north in a black 2020 Chevrolet Colorado in the left lane, approached stopped traffic. 

A Powder Springs man was driving a white 2007 International straight truck that was stopped in traffic in the left lane.

The front of the Chevrolet collided with the rear of the International straight truck

Johnson was taken to the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The Power Springs Man was not injured.
