According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a hit and run accident was reported on Saturday afternoon, in Los Angeles.
The officials confirmed that a man died due to the fatal accident. Authorities stated that the accident had occurred on Fern Dell Drive, which leads to the Griffith Observatory.
The man was walking near a parking lot close to the trails.The driver hit him and sped off.
The injured man was immediately taken to the hospital where he later died.
Investigators discovered that the driver was a woman.
The identity of the driver, and other details regarding the crash are currently not available.
An investigation of the crash is being undertaken by the LAPD.
