According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday in Mesa.
Authorities confirmed that one person died due to the accident.
Officials stated that the collision occurred on the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway westbound lanes near the Broadway exit.
The vehicle had crashed into the wall and caught on fire.
One person who was trapped inside the car, died at the spot of the accident.
Other details including the identity of the victim have not yet been revealed by the ADPS.
The cause of the crash still remains under investigation by the authorities.
