1 Person Killed In A Fatal Bicycle Crash In Houston (Houston, TX)

According to the Houston Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday in Houston. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the bicycle accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred in the 5900 block of Beechnut Street, near Braewick. A bicycle was crossing the road, when it collided with a tow truck.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Other insights including the identity of the bicyclist remain unknown.

Speed is considered one of the reasons that might have caused the collision. The crash continues to be investigated by the HPD. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
