On Friday afternoon, one person was killed following a single-vehicle accident in Waynesboro.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash was reported at about 7:15 p.m. on Highway 25. Georgia State Patrol quickly responded to the crash site. According to the officials, the motorcycle rider died as a result of the accident.
The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. The events that have led up to the deadly crash remain unknown at this time. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
