On early Saturday morning, one person was killed while another person suffered serious injuries following a traffic collision in Jurupa Valley.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle crash took place at about 1:25 a.m. on the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway, west of Valley Way. The early reports showed that a vehicle crashed for undetermined reasons.
On arrival, emergency responders freed two people who were pinned inside the vehicle. One person suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. One person was rushed to a hospital in serious condition. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
