Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the intersection of Bandini Boulevard and Bonnie Beach Place.
A Mustang sheared off as it was wedged under a tractor-trailer.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Two children and one adult member were rushed to a local trauma center for treatment of their injuries.

Wet roads caused by rainfall are considered one of the causes of the crash.
