One person died after getting struck by a vehicle in Round Rock.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash was reported at about 6 a.m. on Interstate 35. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit one person for undetermined reasons. The victim died of their injuries after the collision.
I-35 southbound at Grand Avenue Parkway was closed and traffic was rerouted to the frontage road at exit 247 for multiple hours. Roads were back open at approximately 9 a.m. At this time, it is unknown if the driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene or not after the accident. No other details are made available.
