On Sunday evening, one person died after getting struck by a vehicle on the Pomona (60) Freeway.
As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian crash was reported at about 7:52 p.m. on the westbound 60 Freeway at Fullerton Road. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit one person for reasons that are yet to be known. The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials.
The identity of the deceased has not been revealed at this time, but officials said that the victim could be a female. CHP issued a Sig Alert after 8 p.m. to the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway until 10 p.m. No other details are immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
