1 person killed after an auto-pedestrian crash east of downtown (Las Vegas, NV)

On Thursday, one person died after being hit by a vehicle east of downtown.

As per the initial information, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision took place at about 5:11 p.m. on E. Charleston Boulevard and N. 28th Street in which two vehicles and a pedestrian were involved. On arrival, emergency crews rushed the pedestrian to an area hospital where they were later declared dead.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office will reveal the identity of the deceased after notifying the next of kin. The intersection of E. Charleston and 28th Street was shut down as crews worked at the scene. Drivers were asked to avoid the area while crews worked at the scene. No other details are available.

The incident remains under review.
