On Monday afternoon, one person died after a vehicle slammed into a home in Las Vegas.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle accident took place at about 4 p.m. on 1388 East Desert Inn Road, near Maryland Parkway. The early reports showed that a car swerved off the roadway and ended up crashing into a house.
The driver suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The incident did not lead to any other injuries. Desert Inn was blocked in all directions as crews worked at the scene. Residents were evacuated in order to safely remove the vehicle. No other details are available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
