On Wednesday, a driver died following a broadside crash in Otay Mesa.
As per the initial information, the motorist was in the 9400 block of Otay Mesa Road when another car crashed into their vehicle just after 8 a.m. The victim, whose identity remains unknown at this time, died at the scene.
According to authorities, they are trying to find Maya Millete’s body with husband in police custody. The crash did not cause any other injuries. It is unknown who was at fault for the deadly traffic accident that happened just east of state Route 125 and north of SR-11.
The incident remains under review.
