On Sunday morning, a man lost his life following a two-vehicle accident in Lancaster.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at about 10:53 a.m. near the intersection of Avenue J and 32nd Street East. The preliminary investigation indicated that a westbound Chevy Spark tried a sudden left turn or a U-turn and crashed into an eastbound Hyundai Sonata.
On arrival, paramedics transported the adult male driver of the Chevy to Antelope Valley Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Hyundai driver, a male adult, incurred only minor injuries in the accident. Officials believe that speed or DUI did not play a factor in the crash. No further details were provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
