On early Monday morning, one person died following a two-vehicle collision along Loop 410.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on the city’s southwest side at about 2:30 a.m. The early reports revealed that the motorcyclist rear-ended a roadside assistance truck that was blocking traffic due to a previous crash at southwest Loop 410 and Old Pearsall Road.
The 59-year-old motorcycle rider succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Officials believe that alcohol might have played a role in the collision. The roadside assistance operator remained unharmed in the accident. No other information was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
