On Tuesday, one person died following a traffic collision in Douglas County.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place a little before 8:30 p.m. on Bently Parkway near Orchard Road in Gardnerville. According to the officials, one person was killed as a result of the accident.
The events that have led up to the deadly crash remain unknown at this time. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. Motorists were asked to avoid the area. No additional information has been provided by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
