One person was killed following a traffic collision on eastbound Interstate 80 between Sparks and Fernley.
The fatal car crash took place on March 6 between Orchard and Painted Rock interchanges at approximately 10:40 p.m. In an update on Wednesday by the Nevada State Patrol, it was reported that a gray Sedan was involved in the accident.
On person reportedly died as a result of the crash. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. No other details are made available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
