On Tuesday morning, one person was killed while two people suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle accident in Millington.
As per the initial information, the fatal three-vehicle wreck took place on Highway 51 at 385. The early reports showed that two of the vehicles rolled over as a result of the collision. According to the officials, one person died in the accident.
On arrival, emergency crews rushed two people to the hospital for treatment. One person was listed in critical condition while the other person was listed in non-critical condition. Highway 51 lanes were shut down at the intersection of Highway 385 and Highway 51 as crews worked at the scene.
Highway 385’s westbound lanes were also closed. The duration of the lane closing is unknown at this time. The identities of the victims have not been revealed. No other details are made available.
The crash remains under investigation.
