1 person in a wheelchair was injured late on Wednesday night just north of Downtown.
This pedestrian accident took place a little before 10.30 PM at the intersection of San Pedro Avenue and W. Euclid Avenue. The vehicle that struck the man was a VIA Police vehicle.
The officer driving the police car told San Antonio Police investigators that they didn’t see the victim crossing the street until the car hit him. The victim refused to go to the hospital and was treated at the scene of the accident itself.
The investigation is ongoing.
