1 person injured in an auto-pedestrian crash near Valley View Boulevard and Russell Road (Paradise, NV)

On Saturday afternoon, 1 person was injured after being hit by a vehicle near Valley View Boulevard and Russell Road.

As per the initial information, officers arrived at the scene about a half-mile from Allegiant Stadium. The preliminary reports showed that a vehicle struck a pedestrian near Valley View Boulevard and Russell Road. On arrival, first responders rushed the pedestrian to a hospital with critical injuries.

On the other hand, the SUV driver ran away from the scene on foot. The incident led to the closure of the area for several hours. The authorities asked drivers to find alternate routes. As of now, the authorities have not clarified whether the accident was linked to the Las Vegas Raiders-Seattle Seahawks preseason game at the stadium.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
