On Saturday night, a motorcyclist was injured in a crash near the desert road. The motorcycle accident happened near Badura and Redwood Avenue and the 215 at around 11:21 p.m.
A 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle over-speeding east on Badura Avenue failed to slow down before the pavement’s end, according to the police.
The motorcycle then overturned and slipped into the dirt berm, where it vaulted over and was separated. The motorcyclists landed in the desert area east of the pavement. He survived severe injuries and was transferred to UMC Trauma.
The officials confirmed clear signs of impairment that caused the crash.
The LVMPD Collision Investigation Section is investigating the motorcycle crash.
