According to the Fairfield Police Department, a motorcycle accident occurred in Fairfield on Saturday.
The crash happened on Peabody Road at Airbase Parkway at around 5:30 a.m.
The officials stated that an SUV had collided with a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle suffered major injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
The identity of the driver was not revealed by the Fairfield Police Department.
The investigators are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
Some portions of the Centennial Parkway and 5th Street are blocked for further investigation.
No additional information regarding the crash was provided by the Deputies.
