Officials responded to a Wednesday evening motor vehicle crash that left one person injured. The crash occurred on Burbank Drive near Pelican Lakes Subdivision, near Arlington Creek Centre and Boulevard and Ben Hur Road.
According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, one person was injured in the crash and was taken to an area hospital. The unidentified person is now reported to be stable.
Area drivers were asked to avoid this route and take an alternate route instead.
Additional details regarding the crash are currently unavailable. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
St. George Fire representatives and other first responders assisted the crash scene.
