The Police department reported a hit-and-run crash in West Adams.
The accident happened at the intersection of South La Brea Avenue and Ferndale Street and South La Brea Avenue at around 9:10 a.m.
One of Karen Bass’ daughters, the incoming mayor of Los Angeles was struck by an SUV.
According to police, four men fled from an SUV.
It is not yet known who caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol was a factor involved.
The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department.
