1 Person Injured In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Albuquerque (Albuquerque, N. M)

The Albuquerque Police department reported a hit-and-run crash in Albuquerque on Sunday evening.

The accident happened near Central and Mesilla at around 7:30 p.m involving a pedestrian.

According to the officials, a woman was crossing the road at the intersection and got struck by a vehicle.

The driver fled away from the scene.

The victim was transported to the UNM hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The responsible driver is still on the run. Deputies were investigating the crash.

It is unclear what caused the crash and if speeding, drugs, or alcohol was a factor involved.
