According to the Metro Police, a hit-and-run accident occurred in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
The crash happened near the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Carl Avenue at around 8 a.m.
The official stated that a person was crossing the road when the driver of a Hyundai Kona failed to yield and struck the individual.
According to the Las Vegas Police, the driver of the car fled the scene. The injured individual suffered major injuries and was transported to UMC Trauma.
The identity of the injured individual was not revealed by the Metro police.
No additional information regarding the motor-vehicle crash was provided by the Deputies.
