On Monday, one person suffered serious injuries after their vehicle plowed into a building in San Francisco.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place shortly after 4 p.m. in the 1900 block of Turk Street. The early reports showed that a red SUV drove up onto the sidewalk and crashed into the exterior wall of a brick apartment building. Reports further revealed that the front of the car was completely smashed after the accident near Turk Street and Broderick.
On arrival, emergency responders used the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver, who was pinned in the car and was seriously injured. Officials reported that a tow truck removed the red SUV from the front of the building by approximately 5:30 p.m., with noticeable damage done to the structure. No additional information has been provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
